'I know [it] will drive them insane': Roomate has had it with entitled passive aggressive couple she lives with, cue petty revenge

With the way the housing market is going these days, many people are opting to live with roommates in order to afford a comfortable pace to live. It's not ideal, but it's better than struggling to pay rent for a one bedroom or moving back in with your parents. Sometimes, roommates can be the best—we've all seen Golden Girls! But sometimes it can be your absolute worst nightmare. One of the main arguments that roommates tend to get in is cleanliness, so it is important to find a roomie on the same level of tidiness as you. If you're someone who doesn't care if the dirty dishes pile up sky high in the sink for weeks until they get moldy, then you should find someone who shares those views. If you are not a slob and wash your dishes after using them, and keep your stuff tidy and put away, then definitely make sure you're finding roomies who do the same. Because it not, then there are going to be some real struggles, and with real struggles comes passive aggressiveness and petty revenge. 

That is exactly what went down with one woman who posted her story to the subreddit r/pettyrevenge. The woman was living with her sister and then an older couple. Her and her sister were very tidy, however, the old couple roommate were complete slobs. After months and months of horrible living conditions, the sisters are just waiting for their lease to end so they can move out. In the meantime, however, the Reddit poster decided to get a little petty revenge in by leaving an entire destroy mattress right in the living room. It's not much, but it'll satisfy some need for revenge.

    Font - So I called the apartment two weeks ago to get the bed frame out of my room. They haven't shown up for it. Well it turns out that my frame could fit a queen size mattress(I was using a full before). So we could use the bed frame. So now the only thing that needed to be dealt with was my mattress.     Font - These were the same people who were pissed when I left anything in the living room, but they can leave anything in the living room and that's okay. They yelled at me that it better be out by the time they get back today. That's when I had an idea. I told them that a friend of mine wanted it but he can't come get it til Friday. I heard his vehicle is going to break down this coming Thursday and will be in the shop for at least a week. And one of their dogs isn't well trained either. My sister has a cat and I have a snake. Both of which have been around since before almost all the animals they have. You might want to come up with a plan to prove to your landlord that your roommates caused the damage and not you & your sister. Start taking photos of your immaculate rooms, try to get in writing (text, email) where they admit they caused the damage (you could start with pet poop, maybe?, and their throwing away your dishes rather than wash them, etc).
